Birthday Bash
Well, we had a little set back this week. But there's no guilt involved because we celebrated Sue's birthday. We all ate way too much thin crust pizza and Coldstone ice cream cake on Friday. Ohhhhh, it was good. Now that that's over, I guess we'll get back into the routine. But if anyone else has a special occasion, I can help with the celebration. Just let me know .... please.

halfway there
I lost one pound so far this week which would put me halfway to the 15 LB goal. I have a hard time drinking water all the time (eight glasses a day is way too much if I get 5 down I am doing well) and giving up sweets but I don't feel as sluggish. Kim is doing a good job of balancing the meals. They are always healthy and tasty. We had steak for thei first time on Monday and we savored every bit with a glass of red wine. We too have had popcorn on our movie night which we try to have once a week.
The weekends are the toughest as we have been busy and don't have time to work out.
It sounds like everyone is still working hard to keep up the good results. I always look forward to Jim's results e-mail.

Time to Recharge
Sue and I made some nice progress during the week, but gained some back by today. We each lost 1 lb, after being down two each by mid-week. We're going to try harder to follow a pattern of eating s small snack during the day between meals, then a smaller dinner, and drink water pretty much the rest of the time. If that's not bad enough, I have to stop eating later at night ... now that's gonna be a killer for me. I already make popcorn with a 1/2 tbs. of oil (and no butter) ... now I gotta make less of it. mmmmm that water's gonna taste good ...
I boldly predict better numbers next week ... or call the paramedics.
